Man in flat death drama

POLICE have launched a probe after a man was found dying in a flat.

An ambulance raced to Drumfrochar Road and paramedics battled to save the man"s life. But the 40-year-old died after they arrived.

Police say the man died after paramedics arrived at the scene at 10am on Saturday.

An ambulance spokesman confirmed they received a call-out to an unconscious man at Drumfrochar Road at 10.02am.

One neighbour said: 'The police were there from early on to teatime.

'I also saw ambulances and forensic officers. No one in the close knew what was happening.'

Today, police said the man"s death is not being treated as suspicious.
