TALENTED pupils from St Ninian's Primary in Gourock put on a show to remember this week - when they took to the stage to perform the Wizard of Oz.

Primary six and seven pupils were transformed into the popular story's favourite characters including Dorothy, the cowardly lion, the scarecrow and Aunty Em.

Thrilled audiences sang along to well-known songs from the film which were performed by the school's primary five choir.

Performances were held in the school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night with an another show held for pupils yesterday.

The school organises a production every two years and all the hard work has proved worthwhile, with the latest show proving popular with parents and locals.
