Hollywood film star Elizabeth Olsen is well and truly settling into Scottish life on the set of her new movie - by picking up some rather, ahem, rude Scots slang words.

The younger sister of twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - who is playing the part of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the new Avengers movie - has been caught on camera chilling out after a day of filming in the capital as she reads some well-known phrases from her phone.

Donning a rather charming - but questionable - Scottish accent, she starts off shaky with: “Oh, she gobbled that jibby-jabber.” (We’re not too sure either, but kudos for trying, Elizabeth!)

After much laughter, the lesson continues with “baws” which actually sounds more like “bozz” and “bazz” from the mouth of the LA-born star.

The 28-year-old Californian then adds: “That’s testicles. Bawbag. Scrotum.”

She then moves onto experimenting with the word “jobby,” adding in “air beige” which is slang for “a fart,” then goes on to talk about being “blootered.”

“I mean bizo - that means business,” she rounds off.

Fellow actress and stunt assistant Jade Gordon, from England, posted the video onto her Instagram page, captioning it: “2am Scottish slang with @officiallyelizabetholsen.”

Filming for part one of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is expected to last until the end of this year.

Additional scenes are being shot around Scotland in Edinburgh, just outside Glasgow, and the Scottish Highlands.

Studio work is also began taking place at Wardpark Studios in Cumbernauld in February and is expected to last six months.

The film is scheduled for release in May 2018 with its sequel then due out exactly one year later.

The project reportedly has a budget of $1 billion.
