One angered fan wrote on social media: “That video of the idiot supporter in Macedonia. Genuinely amazed these people exist. Hope the club take his season ticket off the vile, racist c*** and ban him from the stadium.”

Another said: “That wee dribble stain in Macedonia, with his horrendous, racist abuse of those children, shouldn’t be leathered. That’s (maybe unfortunately at times) not how justice works. Someone knows who he is, got to. If possible, season book (?) ripped up with a lifetime ban from Ibrox.”

Greenock Telegraph:

“Utterly ashamed at that video from Macedonia. Speechless. I’m no racist, bigot or bully, yet I’m sick and tired of having to defend the club because of complete mingers like this in our support. It puts ordinary supporters on trial. Selfish, horrible, nasty wee men,” was another comment.

A spokesman for Rangers Football Club said: “Rangers is an all-inclusive club and will take the appropriate steps.”
