GUIDES in Kilmacolm have 100 reasons to be happy as they celebrate their centenary.
The 1st Kilmacolm Guides marked the special occasion by inviting former members and leaders, as well as Brownies, to their birthday celebrations.
Watched by not only the County Commissioner, the District Commissioner, the Division Commissioner but also the Deputy Chief Commissioner of Scotland, the Guides showcased their history through speech, poem and song.
The 1st Kilmacolm Guides was established in June 1917 at St Columba’s School and has been an integral part of the community ever since.
