Woman is hurt after bus crash

ACCIDENT: Yesterday.

A WOMAN was taken to hospital following an accident involving a bus and a lorry.

The 50-year-old, who was a passenger on the bus, was left with leg injuries after the incident.

Police say the accident happened in Main Street, Inverkip, and was reported to them at around 4.25pm yesterday.

Police and ambulance staff were both in attendance at the scene.

They later confirmed the woman sustained minor injuries in the incident.

No one else was believed to have been hurt. Police said someone has now been reported to the fiscal in connection with the incident.
