I CANNOT believe Inverclyde Council’s decision not to fund a valuable asset to our community — by that I mean Phoenix Community health project.
I have been using the bereavement services provided by Phoenix for a while now after suffering a bereavement. This service helped me through my darkest days — days in which I often thought about ending it all myself, but for the phenomenal support I was given by the staff at the project.
I FEEL I have to write in after reading the story in the Telegraph headlined ‘School placement row’ on Thursday 8 May.

I AM writing to express my disappointment at the possible closure of the Phoenix Health Project due to their funding not being continued.

I AM writing this letter as a stakeholder and former client of Phoenix Community Health Project, to express my anger and utter dismay at the decision to withdraw funding from the project.
