THE Scottish Fashion Awards are coming round again and I can’t wait to be there.

This year’s star-studded event will be held at the glamorous Grand Ballroom in London.

The night celebrates all the best of Scotland’s Fashion industry, as well as promoting new young talent.

Celebrities in the running for Scots Fashion Icon 2014 include actor James McAvoy and singer Paolo Nutini — I wouldn’t mind bumping in to either of them!

I’ll give you all the gossip of the event in my next column!

Cold as ice!

Speaking of James McAvoy, good on him for nominating Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling for the Ice Bucket Challenge — and good on both of them for doing it.

I read that £48 million has been raised worldwide so far for Motor Neurone Disease. How amazing!

MacMillan Cancer Support also have a bucket challenge, but you can do it for any charity you like.

It’s just great to see everyone getting wet and donating.

Have you been nominated yet? If not, get involved!

Pictured right is hubby Jonatan and Junior, enjoying soaking me.

SOS I have been following the fate of Ferguson’s Shipyard in the Tele over the past few weeks.

It was a shock to hear the famous yard was in trouble.

Being from Port Glasgow, I grew up passing it almost every day, it’s very much an important part of the Port, its history and its people.

I quickly signed up to the Telegraph’s Save Our Shipyard petition but I’m happy to see engineering tycoon Jim McColl has been selected as preferred bidder.

Let’s pray everything works out and jobs are saved.

Charity concert Have you got your tickets for the Dreams Come True concert at Greenock Town Hall? Hope so!

You won’t want to miss X-Factor finalist Nicholas McDonald, gorgeous boy band Rewind and many local bands.

I reckon it’s going to be brilliant. Nicholas can sure belt out a ballad.

It’s all for a great cause. Tickets cost £14 and you can buy them from Adlib in Jamaica Street and Cradle Care in West Blackhall Street.

Tele Gala Huge congratulations to everyone involved in the Tele Gala.

I hear it was a great night and Jai McDowall was brilliant. A huge amount was raised for Ardgowan Hospice.

Apologies for not being there to host, I have been busy filming — I’ll be back on your screens soon...
