I HAD a blast at Michelle McManus’s one woman show at King’s Theatre.

The former Pop Idol winner had the audience in stitches with anecdotes and hilarious snippets of her life.

It was great to relive the memories of her winning the reality show 11 years ago and hear of her amazing experiences including singing for the Pope.

My highlight was when she sang ‘From a Distance’ with a full choir. You must go and catch this show when it goes to Edinburgh in the summer.

Fabulous Fashion Show After the success of last year’s stylish event the Medical Aid fashion show is returning. It will showcase all the hottest looks from international designers like James Lakeland and Fenn Wright Manson, as well as great local boutiques Robertsons, Coco and Claude, Alison’s and Straps. Local models will showcase all looks; we have a delicious cocktail bar, entertainment and trade stalls and it’s hosted by me! I’d love to see you there, it’s a great girly night out. April 22nd, Greenock Town Hall.

Tickets can be purchased from the shops involved or Bagatelle.

Easter Treats!

As the UK is set for its ‘hottest Easter ever’ I thought I’d share my top picks for the holidays.

Junior and I will be visiting Finlaystone Country Park. He will love the new Cowboy and Indians fun day, as well as the Easter bunny hunt on Sunday 5 April. Mount Stuart on The Isle of Bute has an eggciting weekend of activities including an Easter trail through the beautiful gardens and bonnet making! Whatever you do, have a great time (and don’t forget the sun cream!).

Amazing Ardgowan I had a brilliant night hosting the Ardgowan Hospice Ball. The guests really dug deep to raise the outstanding total of £30,000! I was blown away by the generosity and giving – Inverclyde people are simply the best.
