ATTENTION "experienced" drivers.
Being a "new" driver on Inverclyde"s roads can be a daunting one at the best of times, even more so when your surrounded by "inconsiderate" fellow users.
Let me have a few moments of your time to explain.
Getting a driving licence is one of the best things you can obtain - in my view. I am physically disabled and have four children aged between one and 14 years. As you can probably appreciate it"s a lifeline for myself and my family.
I would class myself as a "considerate" driver (too much sometimes).
Let me get to the point - 10 per cent of us may not value life, but I"m sure 90 per cent of us do.
Since passing my test - like so many others - I have been tailgated, intimidated, cut up, hooted at and verbally abused, and for what? "Haste".
Please take a few moments to consider when you first started to drive.
Yes, you may have 20 years more experience than myself, but we all have one thing in common - we all only have one life.
