RECENTLY, I have read about the closure of the Phoenix Health Project and now the Riverview Resource Centre looks like it is to close as well. What"s going on?
The latest news on this subject is that the Second Chance Learning Centre is included in the "not being eligible for vital funds" list.
Were these community services not really needed in the first place?
Is there anybody who can inform us uninformed folk as to how these valuable projects can are being allowed to be stopped?
If the lack of funding is the only reason, as seems to be the case, maybe that deserves a second look.
