Can you identify the building in question?
I have received several photographs showing this building in various stages of its construction.
The person who handed in the pictures has no idea of the location but feels certain it is Greenock. Can you identify where this photograph was taken?
- The building has now been identified as the old Mount School gym hall in Greenock. Thank you to everyone who has contacted the Telegraph to let us know.

Report commentI can confirm weeang is correct , the square tower is the water tank for the
showers , the play ground is above the building on the left of the picture , this housed
the art rooms .
