JAMES Watt Dock was a busy place when this picture was taken more than half a century ago.
While some docks elsewhere in the UK became derelict when their traditional commercial traffic disappeared, the Watt Dock remains active and is now a marina in addition to being a tug base and providing berths for vessels visiting the Garvel dry dock.
