GOING back to the 1960s we look down on Cathcart Square which is little changed today other than the Clydesdale Bank no longer occupies the building at the Cathcart Street corner.
Long gone are the properties on the other side of Cathcart Street.
The shop on the right was owned by Willie Gibson, newsagent, tobacconist and confectioner.
The Willie Gibson business continues to this day.
Located in Union Street, it is now owned by his grand-daughters Caroline and Heather.
