ROBERT Hann is hoping readers may be able to help him with information about his late grandmother Catherine Morrison, whose maiden name was Crawford.
He was born in his grandmother’s home at 20 Belville Street in 1951.
Robert, who lives in Greenock, is keen to learn the location of a shop his grandmother, pictured, had during the 1950s.
Trading under the name Crawford’s, it is believed to have been a dairy or possibly a grocer’s.
Robert has always understood it was in Belville Street but there is now a suggestion it may have been in Ratho Street.
Anyone who knew Robert’s grandmother or has a photograph of the shop can call him on 726635.
