DOES anyone have photographs or information relating to Port Glasgow Army Cadets in the early 1960s?
The appeal comes from Irving Clabby Conner, who was in the cadets at that time and reached the rank of sergeant.
He subsequently joined the Junior Tradesmans Regiment in Troon and then became a member of the regular Army.
Irving, 67, was brought up in the Parkhill and Park Farm areas of Port Glasgow.
He and his wife have lived in Manchester since 1973.
Irving still has family locally and they have had no success trying to get photographs or information about Port Glasgow Army Cadets.
Anyone who can help is kindly asked to contact Irving by email at irvdane@aol.com Incidentally, for many years Irving has being trying to get in touch with Roy Steel who lived in Brightside or Sunnyside Avenue.
The pair were best pals but lost touch when Irving moved to Park Farm. Can anyone help here?
