FILM footage of a man hurling household possessions from a flat window has been put on the internet by furious neighbours.
Port Glasgow resident Robert Henry filmed the man throwing wardrobes, chests of drawers, a mattress and other household goods out of a window in Clune Park Street on Sunday 8 February.
Nearly three weeks on, the rubbish is still there - and has been strewn across the whole drying green.
Robert said: 'It"s outrageous. I don"t know how they can get away with it.
'Until someone is brought to task, people will continue to dump stuff as they know the council will eventually clear it up.'
In the video, the items are clearly seen being thrown out of a window.
Robert is so dismayed by the footage he sent the video link to MSPs and local councillors and posted the footage on Flickr and YouTube.
Robert said: 'I want people to see the conditions we"re living in.'
Inverclyde Council chiefs have confirmed they are trying to arrange for the person responsible to clear the mess.
A spokesman said: 'As this is private property, it is the responsibility of the owner, or tenant, to clear the rubbish or pay for a clean-up.
'We have been making exhaustive inquiries to track down the owner and we intend to serve notice on them to get the rubbish removed.
'If this hasn"t been done within the next few weeks we will clear the site and pursue the owner for the cost.'
