BOBBY Barr insists each Morton player will be giving every last ounce of effort right up until the full-time whistle blows at the Falkirk Stadium today.

The winger has already agreed a move to Raith Rovers next season and so is set to turn out for the Ton for the last time in today’s 12.30pm kick-off.

Barr is intent on bowing out with a positive performance against the Bairns and says there is no chance of anyone downing tools early with the whole group determined to sign off in style.

The 27-year-old told the Tele: “I’m looking forward to Falkirk. It’s obviously our final game and personally I want to finish positively and do well.

“As a team we want to finish positively, with a positive result. If we win we know we are fifth, above Queens and St Mirren, and that’s what we’re aiming for.

“The gaffer has spoken at training and just said: ‘Look, you don’t want to end your season with a whimper — go and do yourselves justice on Sunday’.

“And the boys haven’t downed tools.

“We’ll go there, be organised, try and get a result and THEN we can go and enjoy our summer and a couple of months off.”
