FORMER Morton loan man Paul McMullan returns to Cappielow today hoping to sink his old pals and help new club Dunfermline to three points.
McMullan joined the Greenock men early in the new year on a temporary deal from Celtic and made his debut in the side’s stunning 3-0 win against Hibs.
He went on to make 11 appearances, netting the only goal of his stint against Queen of the South back in March.
Having also played at Cappielow for Celtic under-20s and for St Mirren and Stenhousemuir in previous loans, it is a ground which is very familiar to him — but he dismisses the notion that will make him feel at home when the whistle goes today.
McMullan told the Tele: “It’s somewhere I’ve played a good few times already so it’s not going to be new to me.
“I know the pitch but it doesn’t give me an edge I don’t think. I know the surroundings but it’s nothing that gives you an advantage.”
The wide man says his new side are coming with a plan to get the better of their hosts.
He said: “We’ve obviously worked on things in training and how to nullify Morton’s strengths.
“We’ve seen them and how they play but hopefully we can get the three points.
“We’re just looking to go there with our game plan to grab the win.”
