RICKI Lamie insists Morton need to bounce back quickly from Saturday’s disappointment just like they did after losing 4-0 to Hibernian earlier this season.
Lamie was gutted with his side’s performance at the weekend but the defender is adamant that Ton can go on another run as they have done after every setback they’ve encountered this season so far – beginning with Raith Rovers this evening.
He told the Tele: “I can’t think of another occasion other than Hibs away and Saturday that we’ve let ourselves majorly down in terms of our performance and how we went about it.
“But it’s now about how we bounce back. We managed to do it after Easter Road, picked ourselves up and went on a run. Everyone knows that we’ve been quite consistent so it’s now about getting back on track.
“We didn’t take our run of form for granted at the weekend – we were just way off the standard we’ve set.”
