KUDUS Oyenuga spent his birthday with good pal and Dunfermline midfielder Nat Wedderburn — but says there will be no friendship on the pitch when the Pars visit Cappielow this afternoon.
The Morton striker enjoyed a quiet night after scoring the winner in last weekend’s crucial 1-0 win over Falkirk and was treated to a nice meal at Wedderburn’s house to celebrate.
The topic of this weekend’s game between the two came up, and Oyenuga insists the former Cowdenbeath team-mates are looking forward to facing each other today.
He told the Tele: “I was with Nat on my birthday and we are both looking forward to the game this weekend. I told him if I played it would be good.
“We’re good friends off the pitch, but we’re looking forward to playing against each other today.
“Hopefully I can get on and score.
“I don’t know if I’ll play or I’ll be on the bench or whatever but hopefully I can contribute in some way.”
