MORTON’S pre-season preparations are now in full swing ahead of the new campaign.
Jim Duffy’s men returned to training at Parklea in Port Glasgow at the end of last week and are now busy stepping things up as they get ready for the tests to come.
New faces Gary Harkins, Robert Thomson and Bob McHugh are among the players being put through their paces by the manager, while newly-appointed development squad boss Darren Barr is overseeing the under-20s players.
The first team face their first competitive fixture of the season on July 15, when they travel to Berwick for their first Betfred Cup Group F fixture.
