MORTON headed back down the road with nothing to show for their endeavours against Dundee United after the Terrors stole a 2-1 win at Tannadice on Saturday.
James Keatings gave United the lead in the second half after some slick passing from the home side before Ton sub Bob McHugh poked home the equaliser from a corner.
But Scott McDonald cropped up at the right time for his men to seal the points for the Tangerines and rob Morton of what would have been a very deserved point on their travels.
