MIDFIELDER Andy Murdoch remembers how stubborn Brechin City can be and says he’s not taking them lightly today.

It took Ton until the 81st minute to find a winner at Glebe Park earlier this campaign and Murdoch admits the Angus club made it tough for his side back in October.

He said: “It will be difficult today because Brechin sit in and make things hard for teams. They’ve got results doing that, you only have to look to last weekend at their 1-1 draw with Dundee United.

“They can take points off you so we won’t take them lightly. We just need to have some patience because that’s the sort of game we’re expecting.”

Murdoch was the player to find the net that afternoon and has since bagged another goal against St Mirren. The midfielder insists he’d love another this afternoon against City.

He added: “I always look to score and hopefully I can do that again.

“I’d like to net against everyone! I do try to score in all of our games but sometimes it doesn’t quite come off!”
