MORTON were cruelly denied points against Livingston again, with the hosts scoring a late winner to seal a 3-2 win over the Ton at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Saturday.
Ton captain Thomas O’Ware had put the visitors in front on 18 minutes, before Jackson Longridge pulled Livi back level on 34 minutes.
The hosts went ahead eight minutes after the break, Alan Lithgow nodding home from a corner, before Ricki Lamie slammed the ball home on 69 minutes to make it 2-2.
It looked like both sides would get a share of the spoils, but Lithgow found space to head home from another corner to give the home side all three points four minutes from time.
