CHRIS Millar looks set to be Ray McKinnon’s first signing as Morton manager.
The former Ton midfielder made over 150 appearances during a five-year stay back at the club, and has been with St Johnstone for the last 10 years.
Millar spoke exclusively to the Tele last month about his desire to rejoin the Ton and to secure his next career move closer to home after his partner set up a business in Port Glasgow recently.
The 35-year-old was part of St Johnstone’s Scottish Cup winning team back in 2014, and has been an influential part of Saints team over the last decade, and looks set to be McKinnon's first addition since joining the Ton last week.
The midfielder will return to McDiarmid Park for one last time in a St Johnstone Jersey when he plays in his testimonial match against Aberdeen.
