NEW Greenock Cricket Club professional Cameron Borgas is scheduled to arrive in Greenock this evening, just in time to make his debut tomorrow in the season"s league opener against Carlton.

Borgas then leaves to drive to Birmingham after the game on Saturday to feature for the Scottish Saltires on Sunday against Warwickshire, and Kent on Monday, in the Friends Provident competition. His late arrival is due to new immigration laws which have affected several clubs in the Premier League, notably Aberdeenshire, Ayr and Clydesdale, some of whom may be without a hired hand for the first three or four weeks of the season.

Borgas, younger brother of Jason, who played with such success at Glenpark a few years ago, is a right-hand bat and right-arm medium pace bowler with South Australia.
