GREENOCK Glenpark Harrier Robert Wilson is the new Scottish Veteran Marathon Champion.
The 55-year-old, pictured left with his trophy, won the title by running the recent Lochaber Marathon in two hours 56 minutes 42 seconds, finishing first in his age group and 13th overall.
Robert said: 'I will now run the Polaroid 10k series and various other races in a build-up to the World Masters in Lahti, Finland, this August.
'The last World Masters was in Riccone, Italy, 2007, where I finished in 10th place in my age group and second counter for the British team. This year I hope to do better.'
