Chris in top race in Spain

Tomorrow evening in Castellon in Southern Spain Inverclyde Athletic Club"s Chris Mackay will represent Newham & Essex Beagles in the European Clubs Cup Final.

This is the athletics club equivalent of the Champions League Final.

Chris will step up in distance to race 3000m and one of his teammates will be European 3000m indoor gold medallist Mo Farah, fresh from smashing the British road 10km record on Monday in London.

Tonight Inverclyde AC"s Mark Pollard will contest the 1500m at the BMC Grand Prix at Sports City, Manchester.
