AN average of 40 youngsters each week took up the challenge to participate in the Startrack Athletics Camps run at Inverclyde Academy/Ravenscraig Stadium by Inverclyde Schools’ Athletics.
The sports programme was packed full of athletics activities, including all the recognised events plus orienteering challenges, Highland Games events, a Commonwealth Games quad challenge, agility challenges and a Grand Prix-style event.
The participants were able to take advantage of the facilities at Ravenscraig Stadium during the good weather while having the protection of the fantastic indoor facilities at Inverclyde Academy when the weather was poor.
