AFTER last weekend’s important victory away to Bute, Inverclyde have their first home league game of the season tomorrow when they host Glasgow Accies Alps at Gourock Park.
The good recent weather has at last made the Gourock pitch playable and Inverclyde will be hoping to make home advantage count against the Alps side that have already won three of their opening fixtures. David Bruce, David Thomson and Tommy McDade drop down from last week’s winning eleven through unavailability but club captain Dave Cooke, Cammy Gunn and Craig Watson return to the squad. The following pool of players should meet at Gourock Park by 11.15am latest, with teas for two: David Cooke, Chris Boswell, Stewart Blair, Iain Gibson, Steve Gregory, Cammy Gunn, Douglas Pilkington, William Rice, Kal Sangha, Paul Singh, Stuart Thomson and Craig Watson.
The match sponsor is I.C.E. Inverclyde Catering Events.
Junior coaching for any youngsters aged eight to 14 who would like to learn more about cricket continue on Sunday morning from 10 until noon at Gourock Park, George Road.
