GREENOCK cricketer Richie Berrington and his Scotland team-mates are still looking for their first World Cup win after a heavy defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka.
Berrington, pictured, was among just three Scots to post a score of any note, with 29 runs for 22 balls alongside captain Preston Mommsen on 60 and top-scorer Freddie Coleman on 70.
Earlier in the match he also took two wickets for 31 runs.
The Greenock all-rounder helped the national side to 215 all out from 43.1 overs — but it fell way short, mostly due to a record-breaking display from Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara.
He became the first player to score four successive one-day international centuries, hitting 124 in a total of 363-9.
Scotland’s final fixture is against co-hosts Australia on Saturday at 3.30am.
