GREENOCK cricket star Alex Baum finished top batsman in Scotland’s thrilling final match at the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Abu Dhabi.
The Glenparker scored a rapid 36 from 33 deliveries, including five fours, to help the Scots to a five-run win over Namibia in yesterday’s remaining fixture of the tournament.
Baum, 20, finished the match as the top-scoring batsman and the victory sealed a 13th-place finish for Scotland at the U19 World Cup.
