IAIN Russell has rejected the offer of a contract extension with Morton to join second division newcomers Livingston.
The Tele this week revealed Russell had been considering prolonging his stay at Cappielow but has since decided to move to the Braidwood Motor Company stadium on a two year contract.
The striker struggled to break into the Ton first team last season, making only six appearances without scoring.
But after moving on loan to Stirling Albion, the 27-year-old, above, hit a rich vein of form, netting seven times in 10 appearances to help the side clinch the second division championship.
These goals help prompted gaffer Allan Moore to offer Russell a one-year deal, but the striker has now become Livi's second signing of the summer, with the club also having added veteran goalkeeper Tony Bullock.
