HOPES: Douglas Rae.

DOUGLAS Rae claims 2010-11 could be the most exciting season for years at Morton.

The Ton chairman has been encouraged by the impact Allan Moore has had on the club and the new signings he has brought in.

And he urged fans to get to Cappielow tomorrow to see Ton play English League One side Bristol Rovers.

He said: "For the majority of Morton fans, this will be the first time they will have had a look at the new signings. Hopefully we will put on a good show.

"They are a quality side and it will be a big test for us. There's not been as much excitement before the start of a season in years.

"It goes back to the days of Jim McInally, when we were trying to win the Second Division. There's a great feeling we are going to do reasonably well this season.

"I'm not saying we will be challenging at the top but we look much better."
