BRISTOL ROVERS will be Morton's first major test of the pre-season, according to Allan Moore.
Ton recorded a 1-0 win over Gateshead on Thursday night and Moore watched his team draw 0-0 with Blyth Spartans on Tuesday.
But he knows the English League One side will be a far different proposition today at Cappielow.
The Ton boss said: "It will be a real test for us to see how far we have come.
"I hope the fans respect the fact we are still trying to get the shape of the team right and have only had two or three weeks together.
"We have also brought in a few new faces so it takes a bit of time. We haven't showed a great cutting edge so far in pre-season but we hope that will come and we can put up a good showing."
Moore also expects Peter Weatherson to play a part after the striker, who is on his way back from injury, appeared as a substitute against Gateshead.
He added: "Peter came on for the last half hour and held the ball up well.
"He is nowhere near ready to start the game but he will hopefully get a touch of the ball. He is maybe a week to ten days away from starting up front."
