DAVID MacGregor and David O’Brien are both out injured for tonight’s second round Alba Challenge Cup clash away to Ross County, though Kevin McKinlay will be available.
All three picked up knocks against Stirling Albion on Saturday and Ton boss Allan Moore admitted MacGregor’s ankle injury is giving the most cause for concern.
He said: “MacGregor’s injury might not be as bad as we thought but it is still strapped up, so we just need to wait until the swelling goes down. Once that happens we will be able to take a better assessment of it.
“But both MacGregor and David O’Brien will be out for the Ross County game.”
Moore confirmed he will also change the shape of the midfield for the trip, with Graeme Holmes being moved into a central midfield role alongside Fouad Bachirou, with Allan Jenkins and Michael Tidser also set to feature.
And he insisted his team will head to Dingwall with only victory in mind.
He said: “We’ve got to go up there and try to win. We will change the team about a wee bit. Stewart Greacen could get a run out and Stuart McCaffrey will also start.”
