ALLAN Moore says he is down to ‘the bare bones’ ahead of Ton’s second league game of the season away to Dunfermline tomorrow.
He said: “David MacGregor and Davie O’Brien will both be out for another couple of weeks after picking up ankle problems against Stirling Albion. Brian Graham is doing a bit of training with the physio but is unavailable.
“Fred [Fouad Bachirou] has a stomach problem and we will give him up to the last minute. It just means we’ll have to mix the team up a bit, like we did against Ross County in midweek.”
Moore is looking forward to the trip to East End Park, where he played for four-and-half years as a player.
He said: “I enjoyed my time at Dunfermline and they are a big club, but so are Morton and we won’t be overawed.
“I would imagine it will be similar to the Ross County game. Dunfermline play a couple of wide players and we will need to nullify that area and make sure we use the ball well when we get it.
“I would like us to be more switched on when the ball goes out of play. We lost a goal from a throw-in against Ross County, which was preventable. That’s something we’ve been working on in training.”
