DAVID MacGregor will not be idle while he recuperates from an ankle injury - he is going to use his time on the sidelines to plot the downfall of Morton’s league rivals.
The defender is facing an indeterminate spell out after being caught by a late lunge in the opening league game against Stirling Albion.
While MacGregor supports Ton from the stands, he will also analyse their opposition to hold an advantage when he returns to action.
He said: “I’ll go and support the boys on a matchday but it’s interesting because you watch the other teams.
“You play them again another three times during the season so you get a wee heads up on how other teams are doing.
“Sitting in the stand you see more of the game and see the bigger picture.
“I’ll use my time wisely to learn how other teams play and who I could be up against.”
