ALLAN Moore insists he was disappointed to lose to Walsall last night - because he wants to win every match he's involved in.

Yet, despite his dissatisfaction with the result, the Ton boss maintains there were plenty of positives to take from the encounter.

He said: "It's another defeat, which is annoying, as even though it's about fitness, I want to win every game, pre-season or not.

"I thought we coped well with them for 60 or 70 minutes, but we conceded a second goal when the keeper was caught out.

"He made a couple of good saves, but he's let himself down with the goal.

"And I think that's a wee bit disappointing because I don't think we deserved to lose 2-0.

"But we are going to take the positives, which are the movement and chances we created in the first half and the wee understanding that seemed to develop between Peter Weatherson and Archie Campbell in the second.

"And, like in the Motherwell game, you can see that when we've got our strongest team out there we'll match anybody in our league."
