MORTON utility man Michael Miller faces a sweat as he waits to discover if he is suffering from plantar fasciitis.

The foot problem has plagued the Ton over recent seasons, with both former skipper Stuart McCaffrey and Peter MacDonald both spending months on the sidelines with the same injury.

Miller’s last appearance came in an Under-20 outing against Queen of th South at Parklea on 23 September, but manager Jim Duffy is hopeful his will not be an acute case.

The Ton boss told the Tele: “Michael’s still out. His adductor has settled down but we think he might have plantar fasciitis, a problem with the sole of the foot.

“It can be a bad injury to have. I know Peter MacDonald was out for quite a long time with that when he was here.

“It’s flared up as Michael’s been doing the running and rehab from the adductor injury. But we don’t know how severe a case he has yet.” Meanwhile, Morton have reminded supporters that the James Watt Dock Marina, located on the opposite side of East Hamilton Street to the ground, is private property and parking in this area is strictly reserved for marina patrons only.
