MORTON have this evening confirmed that Denny Johnstone's loan move from Birmingham City has been completed and that the striker is cleared to face Elgin City in the League Cup tomorrow.
As exclusively revealed in Monday's Tele, 20-year-old former Celtic frontman has joined the Ton on a season-long temporary transfer from the English Championship outfit.
Although the loan officially expires next June, the St Andrew's side have inserted a recall option in the contract, which allows them to take Johnstone back south in the January transfer window should they choose to do so.
Speaking moments ago, Ton boss Jim Duffy told the Tele: "We're delighted to get the loan through and happy to have Denny on board for tomorrow."
