GREENOCK travel to Carluke tomorrow, looking to build on last week's excellent result against Yoker.
The Lanarkshire club are one of eight teams who could still claim to harbour hopes of promotion from the Central League Second Division, although front-runners Shettleston, Yoker and Benburb will take some stopping.
So Greenock boss Stevie Mooney, whose men are handily placed in fourth spot in the table, expects a tough game - the sides shared the spoils last time round in a goalless draw at Ravenscraig.
Mooney said: "Carluke will no doubt come out all guns blazing, because a defeat would probably end their chances of promotion. It is never an easy place to go to, and we will need to keep it tight and hit them on the counter attack.
"But we are good at that, and we have the pace up front to threaten them."
Sean Stirling misses out through suspension, but his three-game ban, which has taken two months to serve because of a catalogue of postponements, will at long last be over with after tomorrow.
Mooney himself has recovered from the flu bug which floored him last week, but has hinted that his appearance may be restricted to issuing the orders from the dug-out.
So much the same squad which captured the three vital points last week will be entrusted with the task of securing another victory.
Kick-off at Loch Park, Carluke is at 2pm.
● Greenock Juniors are sponsored by Kingsley Wood Solicitors and Notaries, and the Lighthouse Bar.
