PORT Glasgow have had to give up home advantage for Wednesday night’s match against Johnstone Burgh, as their dispute with Inverclyde Council rumbles on.
The game was to be the Port’s first home match of the new season, but it will now be played at the Burgh’s Keanie Park, with a 6.45pm kick-off.
The Port are due to host Greenock in the Inverclyde derby on Saturday — in a highly-anticipated match which could decide the outcome of the Sectional League Cup group.
The venue for that game has still to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, a revitalised Scott Nugent was on target again on Saturday, but his strike was little more than a consolation as the Port lost 3-1 at Maryhill in a friendly match, pictured.
