GREENOCK golfer Chris Doak shot a one under par round of 71 as the Volvo China Open got under way in the early hours of this morning.
His solid start to the tournament in Shenzhen means that he is just four shots off the pace, along with his countryman Scott Jamieson.
A quartet of players — Alvaro Quiros, Simon Dyson, Raphael Jacquelin and Michael Hoey — share the lead at the end of day one, all sitting on five under par.
