MORTON have it all to do in Friday’s return clash with Dundee United after a closely contested play-off quarter-final first-leg ended in a 2-1 defeat at Cappielow last night.
The hosts grabbed a well-deserved lead within the first seven minutes through stand-in skipper Thomas O’Ware before a second-half whirlwind from the visitors saw Simon Murray and Blair Spittal both notch belters to give the Tangerines a slender lead going into Friday’s reverse at Tannadice.
