RICKI Lamie says his side are looking for revenge against Livi tomorrow to make up for the poor showing in the previous fixture at Cappielow.

Morton were out of sorts the last time the two sides squared-off and their poor performance brought a 2-0 loss to the Lions.

Lamie, who didn’t play in the Irn-Bru Cup clash, is desperate to put that right this afternoon with a win.

He said: “Looking on from the sidelines the last time was difficult and obviously very disappointing. It’s never easy to lose, whoever you’re playing. And it was extra disappointing because of the St Mirren result on the Saturday.

“It’s always at the back of your mind when you play any opponents the previous result if it was a defeat.

“It’ll be about looking to put it right this time because we gave a poor account of ourselves that night and everyone knows that.

“It was one of those nights where nothing was working for anyone really, and it wasn’t until the real latter stages that Livingston sat back and we tried to throw everything we had at it.

“If the penalty goes in you never know, but it wasn’t to be.

“It’s important to give a better account of ourselves this time and try to get the three points.”
