LUCA Gasparotto insists he is learning all the time from boss Jim Duffy on how to be a top class defender — just like his gaffer was in his playing days.
Canadian centre-back Gasparotto recently returned to Morton on an emergency loan from Falkirk and has so far played three times for the Greenock outfit.
He says he’s pleased to be back and learning from Duffy on how to improve as a defender - and other aspects of his game as a whole.
He said: “The first time I was here the manager passed on a lot of great knowledge with him being a former centre-half himself and he’s done exactly the same this time.
“He always has a few tips and pointers on positioning and what you do in this and that scenario.
“I really enjoy working with him and it’s been a joy so far with the results and the team we’ve got.
“It’s nice to be back playing after a stop-start period with Falkirk and to be winning games is always nice as well.”
