MORTON picked up three points with a deserved 1-0 win over Inverness Caley Thistle at Cappielow.
Playmaker Gary Harkins slotted home his fifth goal in seven games for the Greenock men to sting Inverness with just the third goal knocked past their defence in 12 outings.
On this showing, however, it would have been difficult to tell as Morton outplayed and outfought their opponents virtually from the get-go.
