FRANK Ross inspired Morton to a 3-0 win over Dumbarton in the Scottish Cup — booking the Ton a place in the quarter-final against Celtic for the second time in three seasons.
The attacker, who joined on loan from Aberdeen last month, gave the home side an early lead with a magnificent goal.
Left-back Jack Iredale and substitute Bob McHugh also got on the scoresheet for Morton, with both finding the back of the net in the second half.
But it was Ross who stole the show at Cappielow on Saturday, with the 19-year-old also providing the assist for McHugh’s game-sealing goal.
